A New Vaudeville Revue is the fun filled, down home music and comedy variety show of Belfast, Maine. Hosted by MC Ando Anderson, the program is videotaped before a live audience and broadcast on Belfast Community TV Cable Channel 2, and is shown daily at 9AM, Mondays at 6:30PM, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday at 6PM and Fridays and Saturdays at 10:30PM. Kristen Burkholder is an actress, singer and writer living in Northport. She has been seen in productions at the Penobscot Theatre in Bangor, the Belfast Maskers, and the 15Minute Festival. She was featured in "Golf: The Musical" at Northport Music Theater's inaugural 2007 season. Burkholder's one-woman show, "Martyrs Untied," which explores her Mennonite upbringing, has been seen throughout Midcoast Maine and at her alma mater, Messiah College, in Pennsylvania. She sings with pianist Martin Gottlieb, and they call their piano/vocal duo Tango, which performs the great American songbook and other classic favorites for hire. Burkholder writes poetry, nonfiction, and something entertaining for every Revue show. She works as a Reiki practitioner and licensed massage therapist when she's not whooping it up with the Vaudeville crew.
Jenny Tibbetts grew up in Liberty and now lives with her husband in Jackson. She is a graduate of Mount View High School and Philadelphia's Temple University. Jenny has always been a writer and often outrageous performer. She is thrilled to be part of A New Vaudeville Revue.
Peter Conant was born in a log cabin that he built himself, and it's been a downhill struggle ever since. He has performed with the Belfast Maskers, the Assembled Players, the Outlore Theater, and the improv group Playing in Traffic, as well as many different musical ventures. His writings have appeared on rest-room walls and in the margins of library books throughout the Northeast.
